Where does your glove hand go in the butterfly?

Hockey is a much different game when you look at it from the angle of the puck. By holding the glove a little lower you can now catch those pucks cleanly that go right over the pad and even inches off the ice. Many people might believe this lower glove placement will leave you vulnerable to upstairs goals, but not if you play the angles game. By getting that glove out and forward, you can catch the puck before it rises to bar height. They keep shrinking our equipment so we have to find ways to get big. Get those hands out in front of you to maximize space and make your life easier!
