FRASER, MI — Twenty-five teams from the United States and Canada hit the ice and when the final buzzer sounded five new team champions were crowned by OneHockey.

Nearly 400 players from Michigan, New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin and Ontario spanning five different divisions were on hand at Fraser Hockeyland in suburban Detroit, Nov. 8-10, but only a select few skated off as champions.

A total of 54 games were played on five sheets of ice over the course of the three-day whirlwind weekend of hockey at Fraser Hockeyland and when the ice chips settled OneHockey crowned the Sarnia Sting (8U), Belle Tire (10U), Buffalo Regals (12U), Big Boy Hockey Club (14U) and Mount Clemens Wolves (16U) champs.

“The word is out now and OneHockey will boom in Michigan for years to come,” OneHockey CEO Sebastien Fortier said. “This was one of our best run events. Our Mascot and interviewers were the best. The Michigan tournament size will triple next year.”
