Welcome to the next installment in a series of weekly videos from Hockey Coach Vision!
Each Wednesday for the next several weeks, the staff at Hockey Coach Vision, including Larry Huras, Filip Kostovic and Franjo Zajec, will release a new training video to help you as a coach pass on hockey-specific tips, training and skills to the next generation of ice hockey players.
In our 17th installment, Hockey Coach Vision continues with “Three Bob Cats.”
“This drill would be the first shooting drill you run in practice to let the goalies touch the puck and work on their angles. This also gets the players moving right away.” — Larry Huras
-F1 drives down the wall, cuts in after the second blue line, shoots and stops in a rebounding position
-F2 drives down the wall, cuts across the red line, goes around the cones, shoots and stops in a rebounding position
-F3 drives down the wall, cuts around the neutral zone face off dot, cuts around the other neutral zone faceoff dot, goes in and shoots
We are proud to present to you our newest editions to your team, the Goalie and the Coach. They can be added into every drill as new players, or by replacing any existing player you already have. #hockeycoach #hockeyapp #drills #hockeylovers #coaching pic.twitter.com/45IU3RXC24
