Welcome to the next installment in a series of videos from Hockey Coach Vision!
Every few weeks throughout the season, the staff at Hockey Coach Vision, including Larry Huras, Filip Kostovic and Franjo Zajec, will release a new training video to help you as a coach pass on hockey-specific tips, training and skills to the next generation of ice hockey players.
In our 27th installment, Hockey Coach Vision continues with “Finn 2@1.”
“Great warm up drill to get everyone’s feet and hands going early in practice. Players can be creative in this drill as there is no set passing pattern.” — Larry Huras
– F1 and F2 can pass anywhere they want. Other players can also pass in any pattern they choose. Last pass should be made close to offensive blue line to allow 2@1 play.
– After the 2@1, one of the attackers stays to defend next 2@1.
We are proud to present to you our newest editions to your team, the Goalie and the Coach. They can be added into every drill as new players, or by replacing any existing player you already have. #hockeycoach #hockeyapp #drills #hockeylovers #coaching pic.twitter.com/45IU3RXC24
