Welcome to the next installment in a series of videos from Hockey Coach Vision!
Every few weeks throughout the year, the staff at Hockey Coach Vision, including Larry Huras, Filip Kostovic and Franjo Zajec, will release a new training video to help you as a coach pass on hockey-specific tips, training and skills to the next generation of ice hockey players.
In our 31st installment, Hockey Coach Vision continues with “Arno One-Touch D.”
“Nice quick hands passing drill to get everyone going early in practice. Works on timing and stretch passing from a stationary position.” — Larry Huras
-P1 passes to P2 who passes quickly to P3
-P1 skates towards P2 then pivots towards the wall and cuts back towards middle ice to receive stretch pass from P3
-Players start on the whistle
-Hard tape-to-tape passes
-Pivot so that you always maintain eye contact with the puck
-Call for each pass and stop at the net in a position to get next shooter’s rebound
We are proud to present to you our newest editions to your team, the Goalie and the Coach. They can be added into every drill as new players, or by replacing any existing player you already have. #hockeycoach #hockeyapp #drills #hockeylovers #coaching pic.twitter.com/45IU3RXC24
