Welcome to the next installment in a series of weekly videos from Hockey Coach Vision!

Each Wednesday for the next several weeks, the staff at Hockey Coach Vision, including Larry Huras, Filip Kostovic and Franjo Zajec, will release a new training video to help you as a coach pass on hockey-specific tips, training and skills to the next generation of ice hockey players.

In our 13th installment, Hockey Coach Vision continues with “3@2 Blue Collar.

“This is a good drill to work quick transition and offensive zone entries from the forward’s side and neutral zone Gap and 3@2 play on the defensive side.” — Larry Huras

Description:
– Continuous 3@2. First line of forwards weave skate in the end zone then attack D4 and D5.
– Once over the offensive blue line, next attacking forward line move into position at the top of the circles
– On puck turnover or after goal, everybody takes five quick steps skating hard to the blue line
