RIVERSIDE, CA — If you build it, they will come.

Over 600 players from 43 teams spanning three different countries made it yet another can’t-miss event from OneHockey, and when the ice chips settled, nine new champions were crowned spanning 8U through 14U and Midget divisions.

Among the world-wide leaders in organized youth hockey tournaments, OneHockey’s California event from May 24-27 over Memorial Day Weekend pitted close to 650 players in almost 100 games of action over the course of the four-day weekend of festivities held at the Icetown Riverside and Icetown Carlsbad ice complexes.

“It was so exciting for our California players to have the opportunity to play against teams from Saskatchewan, British Columbia, New York, Alaska and Mexico,” Ben Frank, President of the Junior Reign Hockey Club, said. “That, combined with the amazing OneHockey atmosphere and experience made the weekend one to never forget!”

The Memorial Day Weekend event was the OneHockey event in the Golden State this season including President’s Day Weekend in February and the OneHockey California Thanksgiving Weekend in November.
