FORT WAYNE, IN — Over 300 players from 20 teams spanning five different divisions were on hand Oct. 26-28 at the SportONE Ice House for OneHockey’s Fort Wayne Tournament, and when the ice chips settled, five new champions were crowned.

Teams from Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee hit the ice with teams from Ontario, Canada in yet another highly successful youth ice hockey weekend hosted by OneHockey.

“The tournament was a huge success,” OneHockey Tournament Director Shaun Lund said. “We had great match-ups in all five divisions. The round robin games were a lot of fun to watch and it heated up come semifinals and finals proving that the competition at Fort Wayne was great.  We had teams from as far north as Ontario and as far south as Nashville.”

“Our interview station and the red carpet was rocking, our action shot photos table was busy all weekend and “Pete the Panda,” our mascot, was in full effect high-fiving everyone,” Lund said. “Many coaches and parents told me that they were excited to return and everyone had a great time!”
