BLAINE, MN — Sixty-nine teams from 14 states and provinces converged at the seventh annual Minnesota “Gone Wild” OneHockey Tournament from Jan. 17-21, and when the ice chips settled, 10 new champions were crowned at Schwan Super Rink in Blaine, MN.

All told, teams from Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Texas and Utah hit the ice with squads from Manitoba and Saskatchewan spanning Squirt, PeeWee and Bantam all the way up to U-16 and U-18 divisions at the four-day event that ran concurrently with “Hockey Day in Minnesota” in “The State of Hockey.”

The youth hockey event with well over 1,000 players has become a staple event for OneHockey, widely recognized as one of the industry’s best, most entertaining youth hockey tournament hosts. Taking home the championship in each division at the 7th annual event were the Bloomington Thunder (Squirt), Arizona Jr. Coyotes (PeeWee), Detroit Compuware (PeeWee AA Elite), Texas Warriors (Pee Wee AA National), McKinney North Stars (Bantam), Gentry Galaxy (Bantam AA Elite), Winnipeg Monarchs (Bantam AA National), Northern Express (U-16 AA Elite), Golden State Elite (U-16 AA National) and Colorado Rampage (U-18 AA).
